A Quick Morning Thought

How does one decide what one wants to be out of the plethora of possiblities of what could be?

  1. My two thoughts:

First, I believe it important to understand that to "decide" that even with the plethora of possibilities; your true self is so much more than "being" anything, and, once that decision is made and committed, what you become is as much an afterthought as it is totally within your own power to control.

Second, I really think that before the world accepts your question; we must first know that you know what it is to have a 'plethora' of options? Do you know what it is to have a plethora? I mean, I would hate, to think, that someone would state that there is a plethora of options, if that person, did not know what a plethora is?

  2. Agreed, but at the same time, to excel in anything or to truly be anyting, you must by default not do or be something else. And the thing you decide must be your own dream or aspiration, not that of someone else,s, which may be true for them but not for you (or as Uisdean Ruadh wrote to me "This thing you have chosen, is your own, not someone else's" - and wiser words were not spoken. How often in my own life have I chosen what I though I wanted, and it turned out that it was not? How often when I have done something that I truly wanted, that I enjoyed success?

Or can it be that I realize that I, Heffe, do not have your superior intellect or intelligence, but could it be that once again you are angry at something else and have chosen to take it out on me?

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
